Most investors have had limited exposure to the commodity, agricultural, food, and green energy (CAFÉ) sectors. MacroGain Partners has built a team to find and manage investments in these sectors. We are actively seeking capital partners interested in making investments in these sectors.

In our view the three critical determinants of success are:

  1. Ability to target the right sectors at the right time;
  2. Access the sector experts to find and manage investments in the target sectors; and
  3. Sufficient capital to pursue opportunities in a timely fashion.

1.  Investment Targeting

MacroGain Partners has developed a proprietary system for targeting those sectors most likely to provide the best opportunities for capital appreciation across the CAFÉ sectors. This model is constantly updated to reflect cyclical changes in the industry and opportunities created by emerging technology or macro trends. 2.  Sector Experts - Deal Flow and Strategic Support

Knowing what sectors you want to pursue is of far greater value with a deep knowledge of the individual sectors and the key individuals in the sector. A key element of the MacroGain Partners' strategy is to identify Sector Partners who have individual sector knowledge and personal relationships (see About Us). This should facilitate quickly finding transaction opportunities and knowing the optimum strategic direction for the business post-transaction.

The combination of a proprietary sector selection system with a network of industry sector specialists will allow us to answer the key investment questions:

  • Why do we like the sector?
  • Where the hottest opportunities in the sector?
  • Who in the sector we should talk to (and who should we avoid)?
  • How we add value post-transaction?
  • What strategic exit options should be developed?



3.  Capital Strategy

 

MacroGain Partners currently raises capital on a transactional basis. We seek investor partnerships to pursue our outlined business strategy.

 

We consider the following sources of capital:
        - High Net Worth Individuals, Especially Those with Prior Ag Business Success
        - Agricultural or Green Energy Businesses Interested in a Strategic Partnership
        - Professional Money Managers whose Clients Seek Inflation-Hedging Investments
        - Private Equity or Venture Capital Funds with an Interest in Making CAFÉ Sector Investments
